American Institute of Chemical Engineers Annual Meeting
November 4 - 9, 2007

Nearly 4,000 engineers and scientists are expected at the 2007 Annual Meeting to learn about the most recent innovations, trends and concerns in the field today and identify new issues and direction for the future. This year's meeting will feature Core Programming and 16 Topical Conferences, together comprising nearly 700 technical sessions, focusing on the growth areas that matter most including: Energy, Nanoscale Science and Engineering, and Environmental/Sustainability.

Quantachrome's Director of Applied Science, Dr Matthias Thommes, will present one oral paper in Session #346 (Characterization of Adorbent Materials I, Wednesday, November 7, 2007 8:30) entitled "Adsorption and phase behavior of fluids in novel micro/mesoporous silica materials with hierarchical pore structure by M.Thommes, O.Sel, P.Ravikovitch, B.Smarsly and A.V.Neimark.

and is coauthor of a second paper to be presented in Session #250 (Molecular Simulation of Adsorption) entitled "A Monte-Carlo study of gas adsorption on atomistic models of templated mesoporous silicas" by F.Hung, S.Bhattacharaya, B.Coasne, M.Thommes and K.E.Gubbins.
