The ISSHAC symposium is known for its unique symposium style; the program places emphasis on the creation of a maximum number of opportunities for informal discussion and the facilitation of direct person-to-person exchange of ideas. The organizers propose that ISSHAC-7 includes topics such as preparation of sorbents and catalysts, surface defects, computer modelling of sorption in micropores, adsorption and catalysis in zeolites, nanostructures, gas storage and separation in pores, wetting, adsorption systems, etc.
