The Workshop is intended to provide an effective forum or contacts between researchers from the US and Poland who are working in the area of Interfacial Phenomena and Advanced Materials. The purpose of the Workshop is to encourage closer scientific contacts and longer term scientific collaboration between researchers in this area between the U.S. and Poland. The Workshop will involve approximately 15 lecturers from the U.S. and 15 from Poland.
Dr. Matthias Thommes will present an invited lecture on “Interfacial Phenomena and Advanced Materials" which will be held in Gdansk, Poland on June 3-6, 2008.
