Field Service Technician Representative

Job Description
Individual will be responsible for installation, customer training and repair of Quantachrome Instruments and instruments sold by Quantachrome with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Install, maintain and support Quantachrome Instruments in the field. Frequent weekly travel. Provide on site customer training. Recognize when field service issues need to be escalated and take appropriate action. Document service, installation and maintenance calls with complete reports . Maintain sound knowledge of technology and understand customers’ applications. Provide sales department with potential leads

Qualifications
BS/BA in Chemistry/Physics/Material Science. Minimum of 2 years advanced training or experience in electronic and mechanical principles. Sound knowledge of PC operating systems and basic computer networks.

Skills
Analytical mindset and drive to resolve open issues. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills as well as the ability to perform effective system level troubleshooting communication and interpersonal skills. Pressure and Vacuum System Experience preferred Driver’s license mandatory.
