Dr. Celer recently joined the Department of Applied Science at Quantachrome's Headquarters (Boynton Beach, Florida, USA) as Manager, Application Support. As a researcher in the area of synthesis and characterization of ordered mesoporous materials, Dr.Celer brings to Quantachrome and our customers a great deal of specialized, state-of-the-art knowledge regarding modern porous materials.
Prior to joining Quantachrome, Dr. Celer was a member of Prof. Mietek Jaroniec's research group at Kent State University (Ohio, USA) and recently graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Chemistry (2007).
Before her time at KSU, Dr. Celer studied at Szczecin University of Technology (Szczecin, Poland) where she earned not only an MS&E in Inorganic Technology (2001) but also a BS&E in Administration and Marketing (2002).
Research Interests
- Novel nanomaterials including ordered mesoporous molecular sieves, ordered and disordered carbons, and structural characterization of these materials by various experimental techniques.
- Analysis of structural/surface properties of nanoporous materials, their stability and advanced applications (e.g. separation, catalysis) .
