Complete List: What's New At Quantachrome?
Official Press Release:
New Density Analyzer Combines Style and Science
Boynton Beach, Florida, October 7, 2005.
 |
Quantachrome Instruments launches its redesigned Ultrapycnometer series of automatic gas pycnometers. New styling not only gives the Ultrapycnometer modern lab appeal, but also improved ergonomics, better accessibility to on-board sample cell storage, and easier servicability. The Ultrapycnometers automatically measure the true density of porous solids, powders and rigid foams. Sample volumes range from 135cm3 to less than 0.1cm3. Controlled temperature and remotely operated versions are also available. This latest instrument generation upgrade reflects Quantachrome Instruments' commitment to satisfying customers' needs for state-of-the-art solids characterization equipment. |
New Density Analyzer Combines Style and Science
Gas pycnometers use the simple concept of inert gas expansion (Boyle's Law) to measure the true volume of solids such as ceramics, catalysts, pharmaceuticals, rock cores, soils, building materials etc. Samples remain clean and dry, therefore without the disposal problems associated with traditional solvent displacement methods.
Quantachrome Instruments, founded in 1968, is a world leader in the design and manufacture of analytical instrumentation for characterizing properties of powders and porous materials. Dedicated to providing the highest quality scientific instrumentation, Quantachrome has more than 50 sales, service and distribution offices worldwide!
